This article describes the method of removing the intraocular foreign body by the magnetic rod relay method which the author designed and started to apply to the clinic in 1962, and expounded the surgical method from the principle of physics. After 20 years of clinical application, it has been proved to be an effective method. With this surgical method, the successful rate of 96% is extracted, which solves the surgical problems of intraocular foreign bodies that are difficult to be extracted.
