With the gradual establishment of the socialist market economic system, enterprises will inevitably face the fierce competition in the domestic and international markets. The state-owned large and medium-sized enterprises and enterprise groups can only take up the heavy responsibility of starting the “main force” of China’s national economy. They can live up to the expectations of the party and the government and can only quickly grow their strength and accelerate their development. The overwhelming majority of China’s enterprise groups have been unable to develop rapidly because of the short establishment time, the unstructured system, and the internal and external factors that are not rational. The key to solving these obstacles to the development of enterprise groups lies in the institutional innovation of enterprise groups.
