动脉粥样硬化的发生与血浆中脂质代谢异常密切相关,其中高水平的LDL及VLDL具有明显的致动脉粥样硬化作用,而HDL却具有明显抗动脉粥样硬化作用。脱氢表雄酮可通过降低血浆LDL水平、保护内源性VitE及抑制胆固醇积聚而影响脂质代谢从而发挥其抗动脉粥样硬化作用。
The occurrence of atherosclerosis is closely related to abnormal lipid metabolism in plasma. High levels of LDL and VLDL have obvious atherogenic effects, while HDL has obvious anti-atherosclerotic effects. Dehydroepiandrosterone exerts its anti-atherogenic effects by lowering plasma LDL levels, protecting endogenous VitE and inhibiting cholesterol accumulation that affects lipid metabolism.
