“全国中青年书法家作品展览”(简称“中青展”),自第二届始一直是由《中国书法》主办或承办的,它在中国当代书法史上的作用、价值与定位是当代书法史研究课题中十分重要的组成部分,这是因为活跃在当代书坛的中青年书家及部分已经步入老年的书家中,有许多是在“中青展”的活动中崭露头角并成为风云人物。尤其值得关注的是,在每一届“中青展”的评选过程中,组织者都会强调相应的学术品格,或尽量有意识地强化其在当代中青年书法创作中的引领作用。可以说,“中青展”在上世纪八、九十年代,给书法界带来了许多的惊喜与欢愉,也给我们带来了不少思考、反省甚至批评。在《中国书法》创刊三十周年之际,我们选发历届“中青展”获奖作品,以期引起大家的关注,并从文艺批评的角度,对“中青展”进行深入地剖析与检验。

In the 30th anniversary of the founding of “Chinese Calligraphy,” we selected the winning entries from the previous “Youth Expo” in order to arouse the public’s attention, and from the perspective of literary criticism, the “Youth Exhibition” in-depth Analysis and test.
