之莱山,又称莱山、莱阴山,位于龙口市黄城东南12公里,今七甲、兰高、高新区等镇街区交界处。它是先秦封禅的古代八大名山之一,和泰山、华山等并列,山清水秀,风景优美。据《史记》记载:“六日月主,祠之莱山”。山上的月主祠为齐国崇敬的八神之一,真定寺是黄县著名的千年古刹。秦始皇和汉武帝等封建帝王曾多次来之莱山巡游,祭拜月神,为其增添了庄重神奇的色彩。2002年,之莱山被山东省政府批准建设为省级自然保护区。
