环氧化酶-2和血管内皮生长因子在喉癌中的表达及临床意义

目的研究环氧化酶-2(Cyclooxygenase-2,COX-2)和血管内皮生长因子(vascular endothelial growth factor,VEGF)在喉癌中的表达及临床意义。方法采用免疫组化SP法检测65例喉癌组织及34例癌旁组织中COX-2和VEGF表达,并结合相关临床病理参数进行分析。结果COX-2和VEGF在喉癌中阳性表达率分别为63.08%和70.77%,均高于癌旁组织中的表达(P<0.05),且两者表达呈显著相关性(P<0.05)。COX-2表达与T分期和临床分期相关,VEGF表达则与临床分期和淋巴结转移相关(P<0.05)。生存分析显示COX-2和VEGF阳性表达和阴性表达患者无瘤生存率和总生存率差异均有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论COX-2和VEGF在喉癌组织表达异常增高,其在喉癌发生发展中可能发挥重要作用,且两指标的表达与喉癌不良预后有关。 Objective To study the expression and clinical significance of cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in laryngeal carcinoma. Methods The expressions of COX-2 and VEGF in 65 cases of laryngeal carcinoma and 34 cases of adjacent tissues were detected by immunohistochemical SP method. The expressions of COX-2 and VEGF were detected by immunohistochemical SP method. Results The positive rates of COX-2 and VEGF in laryngeal carcinoma were 63.08% and 70.77%, respectively, which were significantly higher than those in paracancerous tissues (P <0.05). The expressions of COX-2 and VEGF were significantly correlated (P <0.05). The expression of COX-2 was correlated with T stage and clinical stage, while VEGF expression was correlated with clinical stage and lymph node metastasis (P <0.05). Survival analysis showed that the difference of tumor-free survival rate and overall survival rate between COX-2 and VEGF positive and negative patients was statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusions The abnormal expression of COX-2 and VEGF in laryngeal carcinoma may play an important role in the development of laryngeal carcinoma. The expression of COX-2 and VEGF may play an important role in the prognosis of laryngeal carcinoma.
