以淮钢连铸中间包为研究对象,通过建立中间包水模型,对对称四流中间包的流体流动特性进行研究。结果表明:原中间包同一侧的两流之间的流体流动特性存在很大差异,与外侧流相比,内侧流的平均停留时间小,死区体积大。四流一致性差导致中间包内钢液温度不均匀,夹杂物不能有效上浮去除,不能很好地满足高质量特钢生产的要求。加装优化后的挡墙、湍流器等中间包控流装置,四流的停留时间分布趋于一致,滞止时间、平均停留时间延长,死区体积减小。
Taking the continuous casting tundish of Huaigang as the research object, the fluid flow characteristics of the symmetrical fourth-flow tundish were studied by establishing the tundish water model. The results show that there are great differences in fluid flow characteristics between the two streams on the same side of the original tundish. Compared with the lateral flow, the mean residence time of the medial flow is small and the volume of the dead zone is large. The poor consistency of the fourth-order flow causes the temperature of molten steel in the tundish to be uneven, and the inclusions can not be effectively removed by floating, which can not well meet the requirements of high-quality special steel production. With the optimized tidal barrier and turbulator tundish flow control device, the four-stream residence time distribution tends to be consistent, the stagnation time, the average residence time and the dead volume decrease.
