近几年来,“儒商”一词不断重现于当代媒体。这应当是改革开放、市场经济深化的表征。遗憾的是,几乎所有运用这个语词的媒体,都没有弄懂它的历史的和文化的内涵。有人望文生义,以为“儒”指“儒雅”,凡有书卷气,会点琴棋书画的,就可以称为“儒”,由此还生发出“儒将”甚至“儒警”一类说法。前一阵有一部电视剧叫《儒商》,叙述知识分子下海经商,以高智能高计谋,赢得高利润高收入;最近又有人发表文章,认为“儒”与“商”水火不容,其实更是一种误解,不揣冒昧,拈出此题,希望引起关心这一命题的人士讨论参考。
In recent years, the term “Confucian merchants” has constantly reappeared in contemporary media. This should be a sign of reform and opening up and deepening of the market economy. Unfortunately, almost all media that use this term do not understand its historical and cultural connotations. Some people look for literary righteous meaning, that “Confucianism” refers to “refined elegance”, where there is bookishness, will point the poetry and painting, it can be called “Confucianism”, which also gave birth to “Confucianism” and even “Confucianism police” a class of argument. In the past there was a television series called “Confucian Businessmen”, which narrated intellectuals engaged in business in the sea and won high profits and high incomes with high intelligence and high tactics. Recently some people published an article saying that “Confucianism” and “business” could not be tolerated. In fact, Misunderstandings, ignorance and dismissing this question hoping to draw the attention of those who care about this proposition for reference.
