在语法教学中,由于不重视对语法知识结构原理的认识,没能找着正确的学习各个语法知识的切入点,轻视对新知识的解释性的基本原理(即语法知识中的核心知识)的学习,缺乏将新的学习内容与认知结构中原有的适当知识相联系。长此以往,教师费时费力,学生却越学越学不懂,越学越没信心以至于放弃英语学习。反之,学习英语语法知识就会变得易学、易记、会用。
