2003年2月18日,几乎全世界所有媒体的目光,都聚焦在韩国东部的城市大邱。去年,这里曾作为世界杯的主赛场之一而倍受关注,而今,它却以一场惨绝人寰的地铁纵火案,再次成为全球关注的热点。 从大邱地铁大火发生后,本刊就一直关注着整个事件的进展。几平在大邱消防进行地铁救援的同时,我们就与韩国消防防灾新闻社取得了联系。 我们一直在思索:我们的毗邻韩国,作为经济发达的先进国家.无论其国家体制、杜会规范、法制建设.还是国民整体素质,都堪称高水准.为什么却在地铁这个现代新生的在通工具上,发生了迄今死亡人数最多的火灾? 现在.我们以“2·18地铁大火灾困备忘”的形式,将这场不幸灾难整理再现,希冀通过这些图片,时刻提醒著我们,让我们永远记住这场灾难,同样也希望这些灾难不再重演。
On February 18, 2003, almost all the world’s media outlets focused on Daegu, a city in eastern Korea. Last year, it attracted much attention as one of the major venues for the World Cup. Nowadays, it has once again become a hot spot of global concern with a brutal subway arson attack. After the Daegu metro fire broke out, this magazine has been watching the progress of the entire incident. In the meantime, we managed to get in touch with South Korea’s National Fire and Disaster Prevention News Agency. We have been pondering: as an advanced country with developed economy, our neighbor to South Korea is a high standard in terms of its national system, its norms and the legal system, as well as the overall quality of its citizens.
