截至2007年,我国生物柴油生产企业达50家左右,装置能力近300万吨/年,随今后几年拟建项目的陆续上马,预计到2010年企业可达近100家,可形成约700万吨/年以上生产能力。若以欧盟2010年5.75%的生物柴油替代比例为目标,则到2010年我国对生物柴油的需求量可达854万吨,2015年将达1100万吨,前景非常广阔。但同时也面临技术、使用、政策、结构布局及原料供应等多方面的影响,原料供应问题尤为突出,因此,加强非食用油料作物转基因研究、做好生活废油的收集处理以及开展可利用土地资源调查评估显得尤为迫切,此外,寻求在国外建立一体化生物柴油生产基地、尽快出台生物柴油规范应用标准、鼓励大公司参与也是我国生物柴油健康发展的三大推动力。
