The role of tympanic membrane relaxation on the middle ear function, is still not very clear. In order to observe the structure and physiological function of the tympanic membrane relaxation section, the authors selected rats that were easily observed in the relaxation section as experimental animals and used the experiment of changing the pressure of the middle ear.
