Unlike the series of unavoidable armed struggles that have taken place in Hakka and other ethnic groups in the settlement of settlements in Jiangxi, Guangdong and Taiwan, there have been no violent clashes between Hakka and Sichuan in general since the Hakkas entered Sichuan. In general, they have shown a relative Slow sight. Folk stories from the Dongshan area in Chengdu provide a way to probe the specific relationship between Hakka and Huguang people. An analysis of these stories shows that the ethnic relations between the two groups present a double-sided feature of denying each other, distinct boundaries, and on the other hand, they are generations of neighbors and peaceful coexistence.
