近几年来,河北省承德市双滦区司法局始终把抓基层、打基础放在全局工作的首位,坚持“全面建设,整体提高”,不断创新人民调解工作,确保社会和谐稳定。所辖6个乡镇(街道)司法所全部达到省级规范化标准,56个村(居)调委会达到市级规范化标准。2004年,该局被河北省司法厅评为“执法为民树形象”先进单位;滦河镇西南营村被司法部、民政部命名为全国首批“民主法治示范村”。去年9月,该局被司法部表彰为“全国司法行政基层建设工作先进单位”。
