中国第三届民间美术学术研讨会于1994年8月9日至12日在徐州召开。本届研讨会的东道主是徐州市政府、市文化局、中共徐州市委宣传部和徐州市展览馆,由中国民间美术研究教育中心、中国民间美术学会及徐州有关方面主持。文化部社文司司长范崇燕,民间美术学会会长焦勇夫和江苏省文化厅,徐州市党政领导到会并讲了话。中国民间美术研究教育中心主任杨先让,副主任司徒杰、王家树分别从美国、加拿大、北京发来贺词,并向研讨会提交了论文。来自全国各地的60多位专家学者、民间美术工作者,在为期四天 The Third China Folk Art Symposium was held in Xuzhou from August 9 to 12, 1994. The hosts of this symposium are Xuzhou Municipal Government, Municipal Bureau of Culture, Propaganda Department of Xuzhou Municipal CPC Committee and Xuzhou Exhibition Hall. They are presided over by the Chinese folk art research and education center, China Folk Art Association and relevant departments of Xuzhou. Fan Chongyan, director of the Social Welfare Department of the Ministry of Culture, Jiao Yongfu, president of the Folk Art Society, and leaders of the party and government departments of Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Provincial Department of Culture, attended the meeting and made speeches. Yang Xianrang, director of the Chinese Folk Art Research and Education Center, and his deputy directors Stuart and Wang, respectively, sent greetings from the United States, Canada and Beijing and submitted papers to the seminar.
