In the direction of the seaward-looking sea, samples of 0-60 cm deep soil samples were collected from Phragmites australis salt marshes in the tidal zone of the Yellow River Delta to study the vertical distribution of soil carbon and nitrogen contents and reserves. The results showed that the contents of soil organic carbon, inorganic carbon and total carbon decreased with the increase of soil depth in the vertical direction, and the content of ammonium nitrogen, nitrate nitrogen and total nitrogen decreased while the contents of soil organic carbon and total nitrogen also decreased The soil organic carbon storage is lower than the national average. The vertical distribution of soil total nitrogen is mainly controlled by the distribution of soil organic matter. The soil organic carbon, total carbon and total nitrogen are mainly concentrated in the soil surface. According to soil C / N ratio, the source of soil organic matter in the relatively inland sampling point 1 is mainly terrestrial. The soil organic matter in the other sampling sites is also an important source in addition to the land. Soil moisture content in the study area was significantly and positively correlated with soil organic carbon content, total carbon content, total nitrogen content and total nitrogen storage (n = 20, p <0.01); soil total carbon content and total nitrogen content were significantly positive correlated with soil bulk density (N = 20, p <0.01). Soil total nitrogen and total carbon storage were significantly negatively correlated with soil p H (n = 20, p <0.05). Soil carbon and nitrogen contents and reserves were correlated with soil salt content The soil carbon, nitrogen contents and reserves were significantly exponential negatively correlated with the number of crab holes.
