农药工业是持久发展的产业,是现代经济发展的重要组成部分。我国已经形成较完整的研究开发、生产合成、安全评价和推广应用体系。目前,我国原药生产能力达70万t/a,品种近250种,各类制剂1000种以上,农药总产量居世界第二位。90年代以来,除草剂发展迅速,大吨位品种不断增加,但我国农药工业仍存在着一些问题。在我国农药工业的现代化进程中,要加速新农药的创制研究,大力发展农药新品种,加速品种结构的调整,参与国际市场竞争。
