Objective To investigate the effects of different concentrations of ethanol on the longevity of fruit flies and the activity of superoxide dismutase (SOD) and glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px) and the content of malondialdehyde (MDA) in fruit flies. Methods Seventy-two feather non-mating male and female flies were collected in 8 hours, with 7200 male and half female. Take 2400 of them randomly divided into 6 groups, each male and female flies each 200, given different concentrations of alcohol exposure, every 4 days to replace the medium, the number of deaths were recorded every day, with the survival test ethanol life span of fruit flies Impact. Another 4800 rats were randomly divided into 4 groups, each male and female 600, were fed with medium containing different concentrations of ethanol were fed on the 0, 10, 20 and 30 days were measured SOD and GSH-Px activity, At the same time detect the content of MDA. Results With the increase of ethanol dose, the lifespan of both sexes decreased, and the life span of fruit flies in high-dose ethanol-treated mice significantly decreased (P <0.05). Under the same exposure dose, the activity of SOD and GSH-Px gradually decreased and the content of MDA increased gradually with the increase of exposure time. When exposed to 20 and 30 days, the dose of 90mmol / L and 270mmol / L The activity of SOD, GSH-Px and the content of MDA in the control group were significantly different (P <0.05). Conclusion Ethanol exposure can reduce the longevity of fruit flies and lead to the decrease of SOD and GSH-Px activities and the increase of MDA content in fruit flies.
