在经济全球化和教育国际化的推动之下,外籍教师(native English speaker teacher,即NEST)作为一支特殊的教学队伍活跃在我国高等英语教学一线,与此同时,他们在教学过程中也逐步地显现出了局限和问题。本文希望为民办高校最大限度地利用外籍教师资源提供一些切实可行的方案,以求其所聘的外籍教师能够高效地完成正常的教学任务,不断提高我国民办高校英语教育水平。
Under the impetus of economic globalization and education internationalization, native English speaker teachers (NEST) are active as a special teaching team in China’s advanced English teaching. At the same time, they are gradually in the teaching process. The limitations and problems have emerged. This paper hopes to provide some feasible plans for private universities to maximize the use of foreign teacher resources, so that foreign teachers hired by them can complete normal teaching tasks efficiently and continuously improve the level of English education in private universities in China.
