研究发现细胞癌变机制治疗癌症需新方法英国《自然》周刊克利夫兰诊所的干细胞生物学和再生医学部负责人杰里米·里奇等研究人员发现了一种导致正常细胞变成癌细胞的生物机制,这一研究结果既挑战目前的治疗策略,又有可能带来新的癌症治疗办法。研究人员称,异柠檬酸脱氢酶(IDH)基因突变导致DNA进入细胞核的方式发生变化,这又使其他基因之间发生异常的相互作用,进而启动一个促使肿瘤生长的过程。
Researchers Find New Approaches to Cancer Therapy by Cell Canceration Mechanisms Researchers such as Jeremy Ridge, principal of the Department of Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic in the UK, have found a biological mechanism that leads to the transformation of normal cells into cancerous cells. The results of a study not only challenge the current treatment strategy, but also may bring new cancer treatment. Researchers say mutations in the gene IDC lead to changes in the way DNA enters the nucleus, which in turn triggers an abnormal interaction between other genes, triggering a process that encourages tumor growth.
