英语写作是高职英语专业学生必须掌握的基本技能之一,其教学目标是培养学生的语言交际能力,而写作能力是交际能力的重要体现,在高职英语教育中占有举足轻重的地位。当前高职英语专业学生的写作状况不尽如人意,学生的英语词汇量偏低、拼写错误、语法错误,逻辑性不强、不能正确运用动词和时态的变化、语句衔接不紧凑等问题都使得学生的写作能力和成绩始终处于停滞,或徘徊不前的状态。通过对学生作文的抽样,我们对常见的错误进行了收集、整理、分析归类、研究和探讨其错误形成的根源,旨在能够解决和避免当前教学实践中诸如此类的问题,以此促进和提高写作教学质量。
English writing is one of the basic skills that English majors in higher vocational schools must master. Its teaching goal is to develop students’ communicative competence. Writing ability is an important manifestation of communicative competence and occupies a decisive position in vocational English education. At present, the writing situation of English majors in vocational colleges is unsatisfactory. Students’ low English vocabulary, spelling mistakes, grammatical errors, weak logic, improper use of verbs and tense changes, lack of coherence between sentences, etc. Making students writing ability and achievements are always at a standstill, or stagnant state. Through the sampling of students’ compositions, we collect, sort out, analyze and classify the common mistakes, and research and explore the root causes of their mistakes. The aim is to solve and avoid the problems in the current teaching practice so as to promote and improve Writing teaching quality.
