Objective To observe the effect of three different delivery methods on the success rate and indwelling time of venous needle placement in pediatric patients. Methods A total of 850 hospitalized patients with indwelling needle infusion were randomly divided into three groups according to the random number table method. Group A received bushing operation with both hands. Group B received bushing with one hand. Hand delivery bushing method to compare the success rate of three kinds of delivery methods and indwelling needle retention time. Results The success rate of puncture in group B was better than group A, and the success rate of puncture in group C was better than that in group B (P <0.05). There was no significant difference in the time of puncture between group B and group P > 0.05). CONCLUSION: The one-hand needle-and-socket method can improve the success rate of venous needle placement in pediatric patients. Although there is no difference between the time of successful puncture and other techniques, it is still worthy of clinical application.
