南美洲的很多国家都盛产钾肥,巴西和智利尤为突出。巴西年产钾肥约70万吨,智利年产钾肥约40万吨,整个南美洲每年钾肥的产量大约在140万吨左右。下面就分析一下南美洲钾肥的主产国:巴西和智利的未来发展情况。巴西除了是南美洲钾肥的主要产地之外,还是全球最大的钾肥消费国之一,位列中国和美国之后。根据巴西钾肥协会统计,2012年巴西消费约810万吨钾肥。尽管目前全球钾肥的需求量和消费量均有下降,但是巴西对钾肥的需求依旧旺盛,这也与该国土壤自然缺钾
