MADS-box基因编码的蛋白为转录因子,在被子植物花发育调控中发挥关键作用。其中,PI-like基因主要调控花瓣和雄蕊的形成。利用3’-c DNA末端快速扩增技术,从人参花蕾中克隆得到1个PI-like基因,命名为Pg PI。该基因的3’端序列长558 bp,编码186个氨基酸,GC含量为41.9%。序列比对结果显示,Pg PI与Hh PI(Hedera helix,ADM88561)的相似度为87%。聚类分析结果表明,人参与洋常春藤的PI-like基因聚为一支,进化距离较其他物种近。
The MADS-box gene encodes a transcription factor that plays a key role in the regulation of flower development in angiosperms. Among them, the PI-like gene mainly regulates the formation of petals and stamens. A 3 PI-like gene was cloned from Panax ginseng flower bud by rapid amplification of 3’-c DNA end-end and named as Pg PI. The 3’-end sequence of the gene is 558 bp in length, encoding 186 amino acids with a GC content of 41.9%. Sequence alignment showed that the similarity between Pg PI and Hepra helix (ADM88561) was 87%. The results of cluster analysis showed that the PI-like genes of Ginseng and Ivy were clustered together and the evolutionary distance was closer than that of other species.
