鄂豆5号是早熟、丰产、优质、农艺综合性状良好的黄粒春大豆新品种。1990年通过审定。该品种原代号为孝春632,系湖北省孝感地区农科所于1973年用泰兴黑豆作母本、矮脚早作父本进行有性杂交,经多代选育而成。平均单产一般为140公斤左右,有的高达160公斤,单产变幅一般为110～160公斤。1985～1986连续两年参加湖北省春大豆品种区域试验,全省平均单产比泰兴黑豆增产8.5％;1988～1989连续两年参加南方春大豆品种区域试验,各试点平均产量比泰兴黑豆增产4.6％。
No.5 is the early maturing, high yield, high quality, agronomic good yellow grain spring soybean new varieties. Approved in 1990.
