如今,中国的电信行业正处于一个划时代变革的十字路口,各电信运营商都在进行着积极的转型。随着3G、NGN 等新一代网络的来临,联通公司将实现由“基础电信网络运营商”向“现代化的综合通信与信息服务提供商”的转变,提供的业务将由原来的以通信为主、以信息为辅逐步向通信与信息并举的方向转变。“现代化的综合通信与信息服务提供商”成为中国联通的公司定位。面对变革的时代和新的公司定位,中国联通更换公司形象标识(LOGO),以全新的、更加国际化的形象迎接新形势和新挑战。
