克拉玛依油田九6区自下而上在石炭系基底上依次沉积的地层有三叠系克拉玛依组(T2k)、白碱滩组(T3b)、侏罗系八道湾组(J1b)、三公河组(J1s)、西山窑组(J2x)、齐古组(J3q)和白垩系吐谷鲁组(K1tg),含油层系主要为齐古组和八道湾组,其中的泥岩层易缩径,(K1tg)底部疏松易垮塌,在钻井施工中易造成卡钻,通过分析地层参数,改善钻井液性能,采取泥岩段加强包被剂,抑制泥岩水化膨胀,钻井过程增加短程提下钻次数的方法有效地解决了九6区钻井卡钻事故多发的问题。
