托尼·莫里森是美国现当代文学史上的一位极其重要的黑人女作家,也是蜚声世界文坛的一位大师。作为一名美国黑人,莫里森对美国黑人尤其是黑人女性在社会上承受的压力与生存困境有着切身的深刻体会,所以其作品始终着力于描绘美国黑人的历史和现实生活,探索黑人的历史、命运和精神世界。在文学这片天地,莫里森从一开始就一直怀揣着一颗赤诚的黑人之心致力于美国黑人生活的描绘,不仅细述了美国黑人历史的、现实的悲惨境遇和苦难,而且也对美国黑人精神、心灵困境进行了揭示,并积极探索其出路,为美国黑人同胞献上自己的一份知识分子的责任与担当。通过对托尼·莫里森《最蓝的眼睛》、《秀拉》、《所罗门之歌》、《柏油娃娃》、《宠儿》、《爵士乐》等小说进行分析解读,可以发现,莫里森从人与自然、人与社会、人与他人和人与自我四个方面为美国黑人同胞探索出了一条伦理诉求之路。
Tony Morrison is an extremely important black female writer in the history of modern and contemporary American literature and a master of the world literary world. As an Afro-American, Morrison has a deep understanding of the social pressures and living predicament that black Americans, especially black women, have devoted themselves to depicting the history and real life of black Americans and exploring the history of black people , Destiny and spiritual world. In the world of literature, Morrison has been devoting himself to the portrayal of Afro-American life from the very beginning with a sincere black heart. Through the analysis and interpretation of Toni Morrison’s The Bluest Eye, Sula, Song of Solomon, Asuka Doll, Beloved, Jazz and other novels, we can find that Morrison’s People and Nature, People and Society, People and Others, and People and Self explore the ethical appeal for Afro-American compatriots.
