中国铁道学会铁路工程委员会轨道学组与广西铁道学会于1981年11月17日至22日在挂林联合召开了学术讨论会及工作年会。到会人数111人(其中学组成员及部分单位正式代表34人)。会议收到论文共40篇,在全体会议上宣读了16篇。柳州铁路局为代表们组织了两次现场技术参观。会议还安排了一定时间,由与会代表,特别是学组成员在会上自由发言,为我国铁路轨道现代化献计献策。会议认为,在会上提出的论 China Railway Society Railway Engineering Committee orbital science group and Guangxi Railway Society in November 17, 1981 to 22 in Guilin jointly held a symposium and annual meeting.
