Acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) is an infectious disease caused by the infection of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), which is characterized by deficiency of immune cells. In the anti-HIV process, the body-specific T lymphocyte-mediated cellular immunity plays an important role. Among them, the T cell receptor-antigen receptor complementarity determining region (CDR3) binds to HIV antigen and mediates T cell immunity. The degree of amplification of specific T cell clones is characterized by measuring the T cell receptor CDR3, thereby reflecting T cell function and status, and further provide theoretical support for AIDS diagnosis, treatment and vaccine development.
