In long jump projects, the run-up speed is one of the important preconditions for the athlete’s ability to reach a high level. In the various aspects of long jump, the run plays a very crucial role. In particular, the speed of the last two or three steps of the run has an important impact on the long jump performance (the contribution rate can reach more than 70%). The results of scientific research and sports practice have proved that the running speed of the top two to three steps of the world’s top-level male and female long-jump athletes are generally above 10.3 m / s and 9.3 m / s respectively. Only long jump runners at this speed will be able to create world class results. However, among the long jump athletes in our country, many people did not reach 10 m / s and 9 m / s in the last two or three steps of the run and only played 80% -90% of their absolute speed, which greatly affected Long jump results, so that they have the potential to be difficult to get full play.
