西北黄土高原,塬高沟深。黄土冲沟深一般在30~100米不等。沟內工程地质以黄土质砂粘土为主,复盖层厚。黄土呈大孔隙性土壤,直立性好而承载力低,只2.0kg/cm~2左右,且附近石料缺乏。在这些黄土深沟中修建桥梁,必须适应当地特点。特别是对于在非岩石地基上如何节省圬工、减轻墩身重量、解决地基承载力低的问题,是一个比较突出的问题。 1966年,我们在××线上(九级地震区),设计和建造了两座高桥,桥墩采用了钢筋混凝土薄壁圆形高墩。在设计和施工过程中,我们遵照伟大领袖毛主席“精心设计,精心施工”的敎导,不断总结经验,克服了一系列困难,
