义务教育阶段学校特色发展,是新时期我市教育领域践行科学发展观和推动义务教育均衡发展的重要举措,更是落实教育适应广州新型城市化发展的具体举措;是深入实施素质教育的必然选择;是学校自身发展的需要。因此,我们要以科学发展观为指导,以现代教育理念、办学理念和管理理念为指引,以学校文化为基础,以挖掘和培育学校办学特色为目标,以特色课程为载体,以创建特色学校为抓手,走“文化立校、特色兴校、质量强校”之路,使学校与广州经济社会发展相适应,切实满足人民群众对优质教育与日俱增的需求。
