按照关联理论,语言交际是一个明示—推理过程,涉及到信息意图和交际意图的阐释。文化意象翻译也是一个对语言进行认知推理的交际过程。文化意象翻译的实质是体现文本间文化意蕴的吸收与转化,译者需要通过语境假设来寻找最佳关联,以准确理解文化意象的社会意义或文化内涵,再现原作的信息意图和交际意图,获得最佳语境效果。因此,本文基于关联理论,探讨了文化意象的翻译策略。
