高等职业教育是我国国民教育序列的一个分支。作为培养技能型专业人才的基地,高职院校在专业设置、培养模式、社会角色等方面自有其特色,与普通高校有所不同。高职院校要突出自身办学特色,应站在培育实践应用型人才的立场上,以提升人才的核心竞争力为宗旨,以社会和企业需求为导向,构建具有实践特色的校本文化。
Higher vocational education is a branch of our national education sequence. As a base for cultivating skilled professionals, higher vocational colleges have their own characteristics in specialty setting, training mode and social roles, which are different from ordinary colleges and universities. Higher vocational colleges should emphasize their own characteristics of running a school and should stand on the position of cultivating practical talents in order to enhance the core competitiveness of their talents and orient themselves to the needs of the society and enterprises so as to construct a school-based culture with practical characteristics.
