本地区过去大棚生产以种黄瓜为主,由于多年重茬,病害严重,产量逐年下降。从1986年起改种番茄,由于不断的总结经验,改进栽培管理技术,产量和产值一年比一年高,产量超万斤,产值近万元,其主要栽培技术有以下几点: 一、提前扣棚烤地于头一年秋冬(11月份)进行秋翻,耕层约20厘米。当年1月下旬扣棚烤地,于定植前半个月整地作畦,劈双沟下底肥,亩施优质有机肥7500公斤,磷肥40公斤,钾肥30公斤,均匀混合施于沟里,然后扣二层拱棚,棚高70厘米,用旧膜覆盖。
