抗战初期救护总队战地救护工作是为应对战争不断扩大的需要逐步发展起来的,其工作宗旨是以深入战地,辅助军医救伤医疗为入手,而以协助战区防疫保健,保障部队战斗力为主题;救护总队充分发挥流动救护的特点,将医务队遍遣各战区,在武汉、广州等会战中,均派队参加救护,为解除伤兵痛苦,维持国家抗战力量,以至争取抗战最后胜利作出重要的贡献。
The ambulance work of the ambulance corps in the early days of the war was gradually developed in response to the ever-expanding need of the war. Its purpose is to start with intensive field operations and medical aid to the military, with the theme of assisting the epidemic prevention and protection of the theater of war and ensuring the combat effectiveness of the army. The Corps has given full play to the characteristics of mobile ambulance and sent the medical corps to all the theater of warfare. In the wars such as Wuhan and Guangzhou, the Corps dispatched teams to the ambulance to make important contributions to relieving the suffering of the wounded, maintaining the national anti-Japanese forces and winning the final victories in the War of Resistance .
