广西医科大学第一附属医院始建于1934年,是广西首家被卫生部评为“三级甲等”医院、全国“百佳”医院、全国百姓放心医院;是一所集医疗、教学、科研及预防保健于一体的省级综合性医院;是广西境内专科配备齐全、医疗设备先进、技术力量雄厚的大医院;拥有广西高校第一个博士后科研流动站,是广西首批人才小高地。现任院长刘唐威教授,党委书记莫雪安教授。医院现有在岗职工2208人,设有临床医疗、医技专科77个,临床教研室21个,承担来自全国20多个省市和海外20多个国家和地区的临床医学学生的教学任务。同时也是国家药品临床研究基地,设有16个医学中心和研究所。医院的血红蛋白病研究、浅低温体外循环心脏跳动中心内直视术、肝癌早期诊断与综合治疗、外周血干细胞移植治疗白血病及重症肌无力等方面技术水平处于国内领先、国际先进地位。医院装备有PET/CT、PACS/RIS、16层螺旋CT、1.5T磁共振(MRI)、伽玛刀、直接数字化X线成像(DR)、贝克曼大型全自动生化分析仪、立体定向导航手术系统、热循环式血液净化系统(人工肝)、彩色超声仪、流式细胞仪、海扶刀、准分子激光近视治疗仪(LASIK)等大批高精尖医疗设备。“广聚人才、科技兴院”是医院持续发展的根本。多年来,医院科研立项和取得成果的数量在广西所有高校和所有医院均名列第一,获省部级以上科技进步奖连续几年稳居广西各行业各单位之首。自1999年以来,获得广西科技进步奖76项,国家科技进步奖1项,国家自然科学基金项目23项。其中浅低温体外循环心脏跳动中瓣膜置换术的研究、血红蛋白病系列研究等多个项目获省(部)级以上科技进步奖。
The First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University was established in 1934. It was the first hospital in Guangxi to be rated as a “Grade 3 A Hospital” by the Ministry of Public Health, a National “Top 100 Hospital”, and a National People’s Hospital; it is a collection of medical treatment, teaching, It is a provincial-level comprehensive hospital for scientific research and preventive health care; it is a large hospital with complete facilities, advanced medical equipment, and strong technical force in Guangxi; it has the first post-doctoral scientific research station in Guangxi and is the first batch of high talents in Guangxi. The hospital’s hemoglobin disease research, shallow hypothermic cardiopulmonary bypass, open heart surgery, liver cancer early diagnosis and comprehensive treatment, peripheral blood stem cell transplantation for leukemia and myasthenia gravis, etc. are at the leading domestic and international advanced level. The hospital is equipped with PET/CT, PACS/RIS, 16-slice spiral CT, 1.5T magnetic resonance (MRI), gamma knife, direct digital X-ray imaging (DR), Beckman large-scale automatic biochemical analyzer, stereotactic navigation surgery Systems, thermocycling blood purification systems (artificial liver), color ultrasound systems, flow cytometers, helium knives, and excimer laser myopia treatment devices (LASIK) are among a large number of sophisticated medical devices. “Enriching talents and promoting science and technology” is the foundation of the hospital’s continuous development. Over the years, the number of hospital research projects and achievements have ranked first among all universities and all hospitals in Guangxi, and the provincial and ministerial-level scientific and technological progress awards have ranked first in various industries and units in Guangxi for several consecutive years. Since 1999, it has won 76 scientific and technological progress awards in Guangxi, one national science and technology progress award, and 23 national natural science fund projects. Among them, the study of valve replacement during heart beat in the hypothermic cardiopulmonary bypass and the series of hemoglobin disease studies have received provincial or ministerial scientific and technological progress awards.
