Eccentric parts are often encountered in machining. The following describes an eccentric chuck block designed for a C620 lathe (with photos). The half nuts 4 are fastened to the flange seat 2 with screws 7 and dowel pins 6. Between the sliding seat 1 and the flange seat 2 is guided by the half nut 4 and can slide freely, and the two are connected together by bolts. Screw 3 is mounted between the sliding seat 1 and half nut 4, and positioning block 5 to limit its axial movement. A clearance of 3 mm is reserved between the middle of the screw rod 3 and both sides of the positioning block 5 for adjusting the relative displacement ± 10 mm between the sliding base 1 and the flange base 2.
