技术是知识经济的核心,而创新则是一个民族的灵魂;创新意味着飞跃,也伴随着风险,好比一只欲搏击长空的雄鹰,风险投资是它腾飞的翅膀,而技术则是它脚下坚实的大地;青年人创业就如一座活火山的喷发,技术是火山下汹涌炽热的岩浆,创新是火山口,而风险投资则是“站在火山口上的人”。几十年前的一批年轻人在一条小船上“革”了资本主义的命;今天,又一群年轻人在一个“平台”上要革“资本”的命。历史需要华盛顿,需要爱迪生,需要盖茨,而起草《独立宣言》的富兰克林、鼎力支持爱迪生的福特和斥百万巨资助盖茨“冒险”的老盖茨同样可敬。华盛顿创新了一个国家,爱迪生创新了知识世界,而盖茨则创新了一种年轻人的发展模式。技术创新、年轻人创业、风险投资,构成了中关村乃至全中国一道亮丽的风景。
Technology is the core of a knowledge-based economy, while innovation is the soul of a nation. Innovation means leap and risk. Like an eagle fighting for a fight, venture capital is the wings of its take-off, and technology is its foot Solid earth; youth entrepreneurship is like an eruption of an active volcano, the technology is hot and humid magma under the volcano, innovation is the crater, and venture capital is “standing on the crater.” A group of young people a few decades ago “revolutionized” the life of capitalism in a small boat. Today, another group of young people want to reform their “capital” life on a “platform.” History needs Washington, needs Edison, requires Gates, Franklin, who drafted the Declaration of Independence, Ford, who supports Edison, and Old Bill, who is a million dollars behind Bill Gates. Washington innovated a nation, Edison innovated the knowledge world, and Gates innovated a young man's development model. Technological innovation, entrepreneurship, venture capital, constitute a beautiful Zhongguancun and even a beautiful scenery.
