初中思想品德课的目的是培养学生形成高尚的道德情操,树立远大的理想。培养学生明辨是非的能力、交际能力、生存能力、合作能力和高度的社会责任感和使命感。但是光靠课堂光靠书本是无法完成这一目的的,这就需要教师在初中思想品德课的教学过程中密切联系学生的生活,让学生带着生活的体验进入课堂,带着课堂的理念去生活中实践,变课堂为大社会,变大社会为课堂,形成“生活—课堂—生活”的链条。
