Mr. Zhou Shaohua’s art theory and artistic practice have put forward the basic important issues of Chinese painting in the new period and tried hard to answer and solve these problems through his own practice. Many comments on Zhou Shaohua think that Zhou Shaohua contributed to the theory and practice of Chinese painting in the new era mainly in the following aspects: First, to construct a new concept of time and space in Chinese painting; Second, to construct a new subjective consciousness of Chinese painting; Third, Constructing a Personal Language Form of Chinese Painting.
