该项目以末次冰盛期以来我国气候环境变化及人类适应为主攻目标,通过多种高精度地质-生物记录的研究,在全球温度变化对季风的影响、全球增温与我国干旱-半干旱区环境、自然和人为因素在环境变化中的作用等方面取得一批新进展.这些成果不仅涉及轨道和亚轨道尺度的亚洲季风动力学、生态系统对气候变化的响应机理和大气温室气体浓度变化的控制因素等古气候学基础前沿问题,而且对气候变化影响评估具参考价值.
