Niccolo Vasiono, a post-colonial writer in Kenya, argues that post-colonial writers should abandon the colonialist language and write in their own national language. The argument of Xi Ango is based on the premise that language and culture are indivisible and that loss of language means loss of culture. He believes that a particular culture can not be transmitted and carried through a global language in a way that is common to all human beings. It can only carry a special kind of history and other Cultural exchanges and dissemination. Writing written or written records in a particular language is the main way to spread and preserve a particular culture because only that particular language can carry the full meaning of this particular culture. With the colonial language to create, will face the possibility of losing the national culture.
