’98金秋,上海这座国际大都市以其强劲的经济活力与东方神韵的魅力迎来了“第四届中国国际家具展览会”。意大利、德国、法国、美国、西班牙、比利时、罗马尼五、澳大利亚、新加坡、马来西亚等19个国家和地区涌跃组团参展,使得展会的国际性色彩更为浓厚。在众多的海外参展团阵容中,法国展团虽说不及意大利、德国展团那么声势浩大,况且,法国家具似乎也远不如意大利家具和德国家具的知名度高。但法国人却以其高雅的“法国式生活艺术”在上海国际展览中心独领风骚,征服了中国观众。使人们面对纯正法国式的“生活艺术与居室文化”的成功展示不得不刮目相看。
In the autumn of ’98, Shanghai, the international metropolis, ushered in the 4th China International Furniture Exhibition with its strong economic vitality and charm of Oriental charm. Exhibitions in 19 countries and regions including Italy, Germany, France, the United States, Spain, Belgium, Romani V. Australia, Singapore, Malaysia and other countries have rushed to participate in the exhibition, making the exhibition more international. Among the many overseas exhibitors, the French Pavilion was not as powerful as the Italian and German pavilions. Moreover, French furniture seems to be far less well-known than Italian furniture and German furniture. However, the French people dominated the Shanghai International Exhibition Center with their elegant “French-style living art” and conquered the Chinese audience. People have to take a look at the successful display of the “French art and living culture” of pure French style.
