广州市在产权的有形市场出现以前,就存在着不少产权转让和交易活动,到1993年底为止,全市被兼并的企业有118家。1994年底,广州市产权交易服务中心开业运作,形成了产权有形交易市场,定期公布产权交易信息,引导有关部门和单位进行产权交易。但由于种种原因,产权交易中心成立几年来所开展的业务并不多。如1997年在市产权交易中心进行公开交易的只有4家。为了使产权市场交易步入正轨,广州市政府对广州市产权交易中心进行了人员和资产再组,由市政府拨款3000万元作为启动资金.由广州市国有资产管理局重新组建非盈利性质的“广州产权交易所”,实行事业单位企业
Before the tangible market of property rights appeared in Guangzhou City, there were quite a number of property rights transfer and trading activities.
