乡镇政府是地方人民政府的基层组织,是具有对所辖区域政治、经济、文化和生活等诸多事务的管理、监督的职能。乡镇政府领导干部的素质的高低直接关系到乡镇政府的决策、指挥、管理、监督等环节,直接关系基层政权的巩固、政策的贯彻、社会经济发展以及广大民主群众的利益。我们必须清醒地认识到,乡镇干部队伍中仍有一些干部素质还远远不能适应新形势、新任务的需要。因此,我们还需要对乡镇领导素质现状进行深层次研究,解决存在的问题,从而使得乡镇领导更好地为社会服务。
The township government is the grassroots organization of the local people’s government and has the function of managing and supervising the many affairs such as politics, economy, culture and life in its jurisdiction. The quality of township government leading cadres is directly related to the decision-making, command, management and supervision of the township government. It directly affects the consolidation of grass-roots political power, policy implementation, social and economic development, and the interests of the broad masses of democratic people. We must clearly understand that there are still some cadres in township and town cadres who are still far from meeting the needs of the new situation and new tasks. Therefore, we also need to conduct an in-depth study of the status quo of the leadership qualities of towns and villages and solve the existing problems so that the township leaders can better serve the society.
