用微型机控制气割机可以克服旧数控气割机的缺点,并能扩展很多新的功能。微型机控制气割机是用软件来实现插补运算的,这种运算频率受到一定限制。但只要合理选择好步进电机的脉冲当量和插补运算流程图,是完全可以满足控制要求的。微机控制的高档气割机功能较全,一般有:工件自动编程、直线及圆弧插补、非圆曲线插补、切坡口、割嘴高度自动跟踪、割枪自动稳速调速、快车、中断停车、全程返回、自动调气、自动开闭气阀等。我厂已用CMC-80单板机实现了对气割机的控制。实践证明:①长期反复用普通磁带机输入程序是不可靠
