To mark the 20th anniversary of Japan Foundation for International Exchange Foundation, “International Symposium on Love in Japanese Art” was held in Tokyo from December 2 to 4, 1992. More than 10 famous Japanese scholars, including Xiaoxiichi, Hwasuhiro, Takaoka Shin, the Midwest Progression, and Yuan Yuanyuan, and other scholars from the United States, Canada, China and South Korea headed by Donald King, honorary professor of the University of Columbia, , Germany, France, Australia and other 11 countries 17 representatives.
