宫鲁鸣,身高1.72米,80年代的著名国手,核心后卫。现中国男篮主教练。但也许人们更感兴趣的是一个1.72米的“小个子”,凭什么在“巨人”林立的中国篮坛上叱咤风云、长盛不衰达10年之久。笔者认为就是凭借他的高超技巧、顽强的作风以及场上出色的组织才能;而更令球迷们赞叹不已的是他防守中抢断球的绝招。 1983年9月,在上海举行的第五届全国运动会男篮决赛阶段的七场比赛中,宫鲁鸣一共抢断球23次,平均每场抢断球3.3次,被评为最佳抢断球手。1984年11月在成都举行的全国篮球联赛中他又抢断球32次,平均每场6.4次,再次荣获最佳抢断球手;同时以56.6％的命中率获得全国联赛最佳远投手的技术奖。

September 1983, held in Shanghai in the fifth National Games men’s basketball final stage of seven games, Gong Luming a total of 23 steals the ball, an average of 3.3 steals per game, was named the best steals the ball. In November 1984, he held another 32 steals in the National Basketball League in Chengdu, averaging 6.4 times per game, winning the best tackle again. Meanwhile, he was awarded the National League Best Long Distance Technical Award with a 56.6% shooting percentage .
